euryblepharon a symmetrical enlargement of the palpebral fissure. congenital euryblepharon seen in brachycephalic dogs; in association with shallow orbits, the eyes are prominent and subject to exposure keratitis. transient juvenile euryblepharon occurs in young German shepherd dogs and usually resolves in several months.
