Once on the street, the newly released offender plugs into a community support system that was established while the offender was incarcerated and maintained via criminal activity in communities.
While his supporters are a bit concerned about how Byron will react to this new arrangement, his history suggests that he will take this change in stride and transition with the same resilience and strength of character he has exhibited all his life and which was nurtured by a rock solid familial and community support system.
The main purpose of the project was to strengthen the capacity of the already existing community support system to ensure that all children under the care of ageing grandparents receive quality care, as defined by a holistic approach to development.
