Hydrangea

a genus in the plant family Saxifragaceae; poisoning caused by an unidentified toxin characterized by transient diarrhea in animals eating the plants. Includes horticultural, wild hydrangeas. H. arborescens, H. hortensis, H. macrophylla, H. quercifolia.
