Toronto Community Housing and the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 79 concluded a Collective Agreement.
ANF SA Branch secretary Lee Thomas said while nurses could reapply for their positions with the new employer, there are concerns over the lack of a collective agreement for staff.
BFGoodrich Tire Manufacturing, a unit of France's global tiremaker Michelin, said operations at the Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, tire plant will cease July 22 when the current collective agreement with the United Steelworkers expires.
