co-carcinogenic

Fringe oncology
A substance alleged by Gaston Naessens, of Montreal, to be secreted by cancer cells (which require and consume excessive amounts of nitrogen) and paralyse the immune system; Naessens believes that intralymphatic administration of nitrogen-rich camphor provides the cancer cells with the required nitrogen, causing them to stop excreting co-carcinogenic K factor, resulting in an upregulation of immune defences.
