Clumber spaniel
a heavy, powerfully built dog with long body, short legs and very large head. The coat is flat, silky and white with small lemon-colored markings mainly around the head.

The Spaniel breed, Clumber Spaniel came into existence in Britain in nineteenth century It is assumed to be a combination of the Basset Hound and the earlier Spaniel types The Spaniel breed, Clumber Spaniel came into existence in Britain in nineteenth century.
While the Clumber spaniel and the labrador retriever must stay slim to qualify as top show dogs, flat faces without a muzzle on Pekingese are also no longer acceptable because they cause breathing difficulties.
In the 1940s, the Clumber spaniel was an endangered species, but thanks to the work of a Corbridge woman, the breed is now flourishing.
