A client interview should not be considered a 'special project,' but rather an ongoing part of the attorney-client relationship.
However, some of the things that legal assistants/paralegals regularly do include: conducting legal research, locating and interviewing witnesses, drafting legal documents, conducting client interviews, and preparing reports that attorneys use in determining how cases should be handled.
Specific topics include: parents as agents for behavior change, contracts in foster care, women and self-criticism, sexual dysfunction and cognitions, control of addictions, skills for client interviews, marital counseling in nontraditional settings, and evaluation at the community program level.
