baguazhang

An Chinese martial arts and exercise system developed in the 19th century by Dong Haichuan, which has been likened to internal kung fu. The practitioner uses various stepping techniques that mimic the gait of chickens, elephants, snakes and other animals; it is believed by its practitioners to enhance health, prolong life and strengthen the qi.
