ciliary zonule , zonule of Zinn a series of fibers connecting the ciliary body and lens of the eye.

ciliary zonule
n.
Any of a series of delicate meridional fibers arising from the inner surface of the ciliary disk and diverging into two groups that attach to the capsule of the eye on the anterior and posterior surfaces of the lens. Also called suspensory ligament of lens, Zinn's zonule.
