choriogonadotropin /cho·rio·gon·a·do·tro·pin/ (kor?e-o-go-nad?ah-tro´pin) chorionic gonadotropin.
choriogonadotropin alfa  human chorionic gonadotropin (q.v.) produced by recombinant technology, used to induce ovulation and pregnancy in certain infertile, anovulatory women, and to stimulate oocyte development and maturation in patients using assisted reproductive technologies.
