chorioadenoma

chorioadenoma /cho·rio·ad·e·no·ma/ (kor″e-o-ad″ĕ-no´mah) adenoma of the chorion.
chorioadenoma destru´ens  a hydatidiform mole in which molar chorionic villi enter the myometrium or parametrium or, rarely, are transported to distant sites, most often the lungs.

A benign neoplasm of the chorion, especially one having early hydatidiform mole formation. Also called deciduoma malignum.

Etymology: Gk, chorion, skin, aden, gland, oma, tumor
an epithelial cell tumor of the outermost fetal membrane that is intermediate in the malignant development of a hydatid mole to invasive choriocarcinoma.

adenoma of the chorion.
chorioadenoma destru´ens a form of hydatidiform mole in which molar chorionic villi penetrate into the myometrium and may invade the parametrium. Hydropic villi may be transported to distant sites, most often the lungs, but they do not grow as metastases.
