However, the tumor in our study did not show unequivocal signal or shape suggestive of fat or chondroid tissue.
Although minor erosions of cartilage by invasive tumor were found on close scrutiny, the bulk of the chondroid tissue appeared to have been resistant to the advancing bulk of the tumor.
Histologically, both cases were characterized by a mixture of various mesenchymal elements, including spindle cells, collagen fibers, and irregular islands of osseous and chondroid tissue (Figure 2).
