The mononuclear cells in the peripheral blood are believed to be lymphocytes rather than myeloblasts, such as found with chloroma. chloroma, chlorolymphosarcoma a malignant, green-colored tumor arising from myeloid tissue, associated with myelogenous leukemia, and occurring anywhere in the body.
