Patients were excluded if they were pregnant, breastfeeding, had a current urinary tract infection (UTI), a diagnosis of chemical cystitis, tuberculosis or radiation cystitis, or urolithiasis, urothelial cancer, sexually transmitted infection, endometriosis, urethral diverticulum, or bladder symptoms.
Results also demonstrated that EOquin was well-tolerated, with no systemic toxicity, and local toxicity limited to chemical cystitis in one patient, dysuria and hematuria.
