The video shows guards watching TV before one of the prisoners opens a gate to his cell block and then orders a group of inmates to follow him into the guards' room at the jail in Cieneguillas, in the northern state of Zacatecas.
On Wednesday night, the prison was on red alert after scores of convicts took over and barricaded an entire cell block to prevent two inmates from being sent to isolation.
In a pioneering move for West Yorkshire an entire new state-of-the-art cell block has been lifted by huge cranes into the yard at Dewsbury police station.
