Spin, Britain's reigning carriage dog champion, belongs to Newport's Avril Pluck, a Shropshire member of the British Driving Society (BDS).
The Dalmatian breed originally came from a place called Dalmatia, part of Croatia in the former Yugoslavia, In the mid-1800s, these dogs were brought to England that trained as carriage dogs.
Bred originally as carriage dogs for royalty, they demand a lot of time, attention and exercise.
