The HXNBR currently available is known in the marketplace as Therban XT VP KA 8889 and contains 34% acrylonitrile (ACN), 5% carboxylic acid groups and 3. The group tested its array against 100 different volatile organic compounds, including amines, alcohols, carboxylic acids, and thiols. Methyl esters of the carboxylic acids in the HPLC fractions or synthetic compounds were prepared by redissolving the dried samples in methanol:1 N HCl (1:3) and heating at 70[degrees]C for 60 min. |
