caked breast

an accumulation of milk in the secreting ducts of the breast after childbirth, causing all or a part of the breast to become hardened and the tissues to become engorged. Also called lactation mastitis.

caked breast

An accumulation of milk in the secretory ducts of the breast after delivery, causing a large area to become inflamed, hard, and tender.
