The Frequenter [TM] provides airway clearance therapy and promotes bronchial drainage by inducing vibration in the chest walls while useing acoustics to generate frequencies between 20-100Hz, enough to reach a patient's lung resonant frequency.
Variations of this general method became known by terms including bronchial drainage (BD), percussion and postural drainage (P&PD), and chest physical therapy/chest physiotherapy (CPT).
The generator and hose provide an air pulse flow to the vest that delivers oscillation to clear the airways and improve bronchial drainage.
