brinase

Fringe oncology
A fibrinolytic and thrombolytic enzyme from a fungus (Aspergillus oryzae) that was said to stimulate the immune system by increasing T-cell counts—e.g., in the elderly and in patients with cancer.

There are no peer-reviewed reports that suggest that enzyme therapy, as used by alternative healthcare providers, is beneficial in patients with malignancy.
