Briard a large (75 lb), muscular dog with medium-length, slightly wavy, black, fawn or gray coat which covers the face and forms a beard and mustache. There are supposed to be double dewclaws on the hindfeet. The breed is predisposed to a progressive retinal atrophy. Called also Berger de Brie. How to thank TFD for its existence?
