n Latin name:
Bacopa monniera; parts used: dried whole plant, leaves, stems. Uses: in Ayurveda, pacifies kapha and vata doshas (bitter, light, oily), nerve tonic, astringent, cognition, memory, learning ability, anxiolytic, antioxidant, analgesic, and bronchodilator; precautions: none known. Also called
barambhi, nirabarhmi, or
thyme-leaved gratiola.
