1. The condition or property of being elastic; flexibility.
2. The property of returning to an initial form or state following deformation.

the ability of tissue to regain its original shape and size after being stretched, squeezed, or otherwise deformed. Muscle tissue is generally regarded as elastic because it is able to change size and shape and return to its original condition.

n (Young's modulus) a measurement of elasticity obtained by dividing stress below the proportional limit by its corresponding strain value. A measure of stiffness.
