Bighorn sheep a tall (up to 3 ft), heavy (up to 300 lb body weight) wild sheep that lives in inaccessible mountain country where it exercises its principal achievement of prodigious leaping and climbing. Called also Ovis canadensis. Several regional varieties, e.g. O. c. californiana, Californian bighorn sheep. |

When Big Bou announces that the herd is leaving, a snowshoe hare, snowy owl, black bear, bighorn sheep, and clown duck each undertake a quest to become more like the Bou, do what they do, and protect the pass. Aside from a vast swath of wilderness that holds bears, mountain lions and rare bighorn sheep, the losses have been minimal.
