In the research bicycle group, for example, individuals who could only pedal a bicycle ergometer at the onset of the studies for a period of a few seconds were able to pedal the bicycle ergometer for an hour at a load of up to 1 kp at the end of the two-year period.
The literature primarily has investigated exercise using bed or bicycle ergometers for 30 minutes daily.
