beam-splitting mirror,

a device that allows a radiologist to view a fluoroscopic examination of a patient while the same view is being recorded on film. The mirror can be adjusted to reflect from 10% to 90% of the x-ray beam to the fluorescent screen while the rest is directed to the film.
