bar·rel chest

a chest permanently resembling the shape of a barrel, that is, with increased anteroposterior diameter, roughly equaling the lateral diameter; usually with some degree of kyphosis; may be seen in cases of emphysema.

barrel-shaped thorax

A malformed chest rounded like a barrel, seen in advanced pulmonary emphysema.
