a surgical procedure to enlarge the breasts.

augmentation mammoplasty

Any surgical procedure (usually elective) that increases breast size.
 
Complications
Capsule contraction (20% of cases), haematoma, infection, implant exposure, deflation or rupture of implant, breast asymmetry, external scars.
