A proposed autoimmune condition allegedly linked to leakage of silicone into surrounding breast and/or systemic penetration thereof.
 
Alleged clinical findings
Fatigue, myalgia, arthralgia, synovitis, serositis, sicca syndrome (dry eyes and mouth), dermatitis, alopecia, lymphadenopathy, gastrointestinal symptoms, fever, night sweats and cognitive dysfunction.
 
Diagnosis
Clinical features, history, microscopy, inductively coupled plasma emission spectroscopy.
