The Prime Provider will be responsible for delivering or subcontracting a full range of recovery service which will include but are not limited to the following brief interventions, advice, peer support programmes, structured programmes of care to include Drug Rehabilitation Requirements, Alcohol Treatment Requirements and Youth Restorative Orders, Assertive Outreach Services, both Community and Criminal Justice Parenting Programmes, Substitute Prescribing (including Dual Diagnosis), Alternative Therapies and Awareness training to improve early interventions.
We are well placed to make this vision a reality - a 2008 report from the World Health Organisation showed that England and Wales were the only countries in Europe to report that all people with mental health disorders have access to assertive outreach services, such as crisis resolution teams, who treat people in their own homes.
