An ovarian tumor that contains luteinized cells and immature testicular tubules and that may result in masculinization.

Etymology: Gk, arrhen, male, blastos, germ, oma, tumor
an ovarian neoplasm whose cells mimic those in testicular tubules and secrete male sex hormone, causing virilization in females. Also called andreioma, andreoblastoma, androma, arrhenoma, Sertoli-Leydig cell tumor.
