The finding that some interventions described in our study have been used in stroke rehabilitation for the past 30 years is not surprising because the basic armamentaria of physical therapists have not changed dramatically and the focus of care continues to be directed toward reducing impairments and facilitating function or adaptation to impairments. In addition, high-tech tools and equipment are discussed; examples of radiographs and dental history forms are featured; and numerous dental armamentaria and instruments are described in detail and presented with photos. |
