arbor /ar·bor/ (ahr´bor) pl. ar´bores   [L.] a treelike structure or part.
arbor vi´tae 
1. (of cerebellum): treelike outlines seen in a median section of the cerebellum.
2. (of uterus): palmate folds.
3. the tree T. occidentalis; its leafy twigs contain the medicinal substance thuja but can be poisonous.
