antihemophilic /an·ti·he·mo·phil·ic/ (-he″mo-fil´ik) counteracting hemophilia, or an agent that so acts.
antihemophilic
1. effective against the bleeding tendency in hemophilia.
2. an agent that counteracts the bleeding tendency in hemophilia.

antihemophilic factor (AHF) A
one of the clotting factors, deficiency of which causes von willebrand's disease and hemophilia A. Called also factor VIII and antihemophilic globulin.
antihemophilic factor B
clotting factor IX.
antihemophilic factor C
clotting factor XI.
