anthelix /ant·he·lix/ (ant´he-liks) the semicircular ridge on the flap of the ear, anteroinferior to the helix.

Ridge of cartilage anterior and roughly parallel to the posterior portion of the auricle helix.

antihelix [an″te-he´liks]

the semicircular ridge on the ear anterior and parallel to the helix; called also anthelix.

anthelix

a low transverse ridge across the medial wall of the first part of the ear canal. The bend in the pinna of lop-eared dogs occurs distal to the anthelix.
