At Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, he studied adult green anole lizards (Anolis carolinensis), 6 to 8 inches long, exposed to a pyrethroid product used to treat birds for mites and lice.
When a sound wave hits a green anole lizard, for instance, the energy causes the lizard's chest wall to vibrate in tune with the wave.
