2. in pulsed Doppler ultrasonography, an artifact occurring when the velocity of the sampled object is too great for the Doppler frequency to be determined by the system.
3. an artifact occurring in magnetic resonance imaging when a part being examined is larger than the field of view; an image of the area outside the field of view appears as an artifact inside the field of view.

Idealstor's Server Aliasing Module (SAM) and Backup Versioning Module (BVM), two optional components for Ibac, Idealstor's data protection software, have been upgraded to match the evolving needs of customers and further enhance the company's product line.
The GeForce 7800 GTX also includes new image quality features such as transparency supersampling and multisample antialiasing, which enhances visual quality by removing jagged edges from 3D images, minimizing aliasing, and high dynamic range (HDR) lighting support for delivering next-generation lighting and shadowing effects.
