aldosteronoma /al·dos·ter·o·no·ma/ (al″do-ster″o-no´mah) a tumor, usually an adenoma, of the adrenal cortex that secretes aldosterone, causing primary aldosteronism.
aldosteronoma [al′dōstir′ənō′mə] pl. aldosteronomas, aldosteronomata an aldosterone-secreting adenoma of the adrenal cortex that is usually small and occurs more frequently in the left than the right adrenal gland.
