Q. What is the reason Chinese treatment become so popular recently? did people lost their faith in advanced medical method and they are turning towards the more spirit part of them , and thats why traditional methods became so common now days ?

A. I believe that nowadays many people are more open-minded, so that they're willing to learn the ancient history of medicine, and we all know that chinese medicine is one of the oldest therapy for some diseases.

But again, I do encourage everyone to always consult it first with your medical doctor, because I'm sure if chinese medicine has proper explanation about how it works, then we should also be open-minded in collaborating the eastern and western ( as long as it has the evidence-based medicine )

Q. How do they make Flu shots in advance for next season? They says every year Flu viruses are different so we need different updated Flu shots too, But that always makes me wonder how do they make Flu shots in well advance before actual Flu season starts and it's able to prevent people from getting Flu? Anyone know?

A. Good question ? , every year or so the influenza virus take a “drift”. That means he is changed a bit. So they go to the other side of the planet (where it’s winter when we have summer) and take 30 most common influenza viruses and make vaccines.

Q. My sister who is 33 years old has been diagnosed with advanced breast cancer. I just need her to survive. Hello, My sister who is just 33 years old has been diagnosed with advanced breast cancer and her husband who is a doctor (he is not an Oncologist) told me that she might not survive even 6 months . We I knew that she was on chemotherapy, radiation, etc and have been undergoing treatment for the past 2 years. I would like to know if there are any alternative treatment methods available as I would not want her to die. I do not care even if it is of any alternative treatment which might be very innovative and do not bother even if it is unconventional. I just need her to survive. Hope you understand my position.

A. wow...marcusomar...i'm sorry to here the bad news...i understand your distress, it's one of the most hardest things that a man can go through, seeing a loved one fades away like that.
i don't know about alternative treatments for breast cancer, but i do know that the government is recruiting poeple for clinical trials. not always and not always they look for people in your sister's condition but it could be. ask her husband for help to maybe find something that will suit her:
