ac·ne ke·loid

a chronic eruption of fibrous papules that develop at the site of deep folliculitis, usually on the back of the neck at the hairline.

acne keloid

Etymology: Gk, akme, point, kelis, spot, eidos, form
an acneform disorder in which secondary pyogenic infection in and around pilosebaceous structures results in keloidal scarring. It is manifested as persistent folliculitis of the back of the neck associated with occlusion of the follicular orifices. It is most often encountered in black and Asian men.
