Acidophilus
The bacteria called Lactobacillus acidophilus that is usually found in yogurt.

Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus; part used: entire organism; uses: stimulates growth of bacteria in digestive tract; treats urinary tract infections, yeast infections, thrush in babies; also claimed to encourage nonspecific immunity and to prevent cancerous growths in breast and colon; precautions: lactose intolerance. Also called
Bacid, Lactinex, MoreDophilus, Probiata, Probiotics, Superdolphilus, or
yogurt.

Trials with an encapsulated Lactobacillus acidophilus culture have found that resistance to temperatures up to 50[degrees]C (122[degrees]F) increased 10-fold when heat treatment was applied for 24 hours under dry conditions, according to researchers at Danisco BioActive.
acidophilus was the most resistant against Shiraz and Kenwood, experiencing only a 1-log reduction.
A good lactobacillus acidophilus is recommended either in capsule or liquid form, taken three times each day, with capsule form being recommended.
