Endoscopic sclerotherapy GI disease The intralesional administration of a sclerosant–eg, ethanolamine oleate, polidocanol with a vasoconstrictor–eg, epinephrine, to achieve hemostasis in Pts with bleeding ulcers, vascular malformation or esophageal varices. See Sclerosants. Cf Endoscopic ligation.
