capillary ion analysis

A form of capillary electrophoresis, which uses the differential electrophoretic mobility of ions to perform a separation of an ionic mixture. It is a highly sensitive separation method with a range of applications, from detecting potassium concentration in the vitreous humour to analysing organic acid anions in groundwater.

Samples require little preparation, low sample volume with minimal reagent consumption.
