Problem Classification Scheme

 

one of the three clinical components of the omaha system; it is a client-focused taxonomy used by nurses and other health care professionals to standardize the assessment process. It consists of four domains (the environmental, psychosocial, physiological, and health-related behaviors domains), 40 problems or nursing diagnoses, two sets of modifiers, and signs and symptoms.
