Capatientopril Prevention Project. A trial comparing the cardiovascular and other effects of captopril to conventional therapy in managing hypertension.
 
Conclusion
Cardiovascular mortality was slightly reduced with captopril (p = 0.092, and thus not statistically significant); rates of MI were similar; the incidence of stroke was higher with captopril (RR 1.25; p = 0.044—i.e., barely significant).
