Alateen
[al´ah-tēn] a self-help program sponsored by
al-anon for children (ages 12 to 20) of alcoholics. Alateen provides a forum for the discussion of the problems of living in a family affected by alcohol abuse and the opportunity to develop healthy coping skills.
