Acinetobacter anitratum
Acinetobacter anitratum
The equivalent of this organism uncertain; Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, var anitriatum, had been considered a viable translation but more recently has been regarded as a former biovar of Acinetobacter, which now encompasses A calcoaceticus (no growth at 41ºC), A baumannii (growth at 44ºC) and genospecies 3 (which has no trivial name and is characterised by growth at 41ºC, but not at 44ºC).Segen's Medical Dictionary. © 2012 Farlex, Inc.
