I am taking Prenatal Vitamins during my pregnancy; however they are making me feel nauseous. What to do?
A1you can also take childrens vitamins
A2It happened to me too when I was pregnant. Some prenatal vitamins can cause nausea. I suggest trying a different one, there are so many different kinds out there and not all of them will have the same effects on you.
A3try breaking the pill in smaller parts, and take a peice through out the day, also eat crackers with the pill.

Q. I am thinking of prenatal yoga class. How can I go about it?

I am thinking of prenatal yoga class. I am 10 weeks pregnant and my age is 25. I had heard a lot about this and some said that it helps in labor. I wish to join the class to have healthy labor. What is the best time to go for this and is it safe to follow throughout pregnancy? Will it be an alternative for exercise we generally do during pregnancy? My friend went for regular prenatal yoga class and had healthy labor and the child and mom are doing well. This has created a positive vibration in my mind about pregnancy and labor? How can I go about it?
A1basically, exercising during pregnancy is one of the good thing for a pregnant mom. it can help preparing the pregnant mom for the delivery later. research has shown that some sports during pregnancy will reduce the pain when a mother delivers the babyborn.

yoga is good for the muscles and the stretching process. but i will suggest you to consult that first with your ob-gyn doctor, if your pregnancy is totally healthy then you will have nothing to worry about.

another sport that is good for pregnancy is water sports, such as swimming, and also water aerobic. I once wrote an article about water aerobic, if you want to read :
A2yoga is a wonderful tool! it helps you keep your muscles strong and long. and it's very important. my wife did it in both her pregnancies and it helped tremendously in keeping her healthier during and after the pregnancy. but she also went swimming at least 3 times a week (!!) which helped her stay in shape without risk to the fetus.
A3Hi Lesa,They do help in labor related pain. This helps you staying calm. My friend had started this yoga during her first month and she said it’s better to start as early as possible. She says that if started late it can tire you like normal exercise. Doing exercises like walking is also good with this. It is proved to have good results in all the pregnant woman.

Ano u didn't believe me i use to do that alot is normal well at least that's what happened to me and almost every night! lol hope u get better girl;)

Q. what genetic exams should i do during and before pregnancy to secure the unborn child?

Athere is a wide variety of pre-gestational genetic testsing that can be done, for several inherited diseases, depending on your origin. You have to consult your gynecologist in order to know exactly what can be tested nowadays and whether or not there is a need.

Q. in what part of pregnancy can i find out if my unborn child has Autism or any other health issue?

AAutism can't be diagnosed before birth, and actually not until the child grows. Other health issues - no once can guarantee you a perfect, problem-less child - there are conditions that are impossible to be diagnosed during pregnancy. However, if you're concerned about this subject, you may want to consult your doctor (e.g. a gynecologist) in order to receive a more personal and comprehensive answer.

Q. would we be able to find out if our unborn child has autism? when exactly is the time to find out during

the pregnant ?
AUnfortunately, autism on its own is not something to be detected during pregnancy, and the diagnosis can only be suspected in the first 6-9 months of life. Other syndromes that include autism or mental retardation can be genetically detected or via U.S scans during pregnancy but only when there are seen anatomical malformations that go with it.

Q. What is a recommended Nutrition/diet to a pregnante woman? is it also benefit with the unborn developing ?

ANutrition during pregnancy is very important, as demonstrated by the reduction of spina bifida (a type of malformation) by the addition of folic acid to the nutrition. Generally the recommendations include addition of folic acid and avoidance of some fish (in order to avoid exposing the fetus to mercury)

Recommendations about nutrition during pregnancy along with other explanations may be found here ( However, consulting a doctor (e.g. a gynecologist) may be wise in order to recognize and address special needs.
