Q. can he simply cut down?

When a problem drinker take effort to stop his habit, can he simply cut down?
AIt can be appreciated if he is not toooooo late. So it depends. If that person has been diagnosed as an alcoholic, the answer is "no." Alcoholics who try to cut down on drinking rarely succeed. Cutting out alcohol--that is, abstaining - is usually the best course for recovery. People who are not alcohol dependent but who have experienced alcohol-related problems may be able to limit the amount they drink. If they can't stay within those limits, they need to stop drinking altogether.

Q. WHAT CAN ; I DO ABOUT BEING ALLERGIC TO FRESH CUT GRASS?

Q. Why do alcoholic people always failed to realize that cutting with the drinks is out of their

capabilities after they are beyond the tipping point of just drinking bears and having fun to the point of being addictive to it ... i mean i see it all the time .. what cause this incapability of facing the truth ?
ADENIAL that they have a problem, most addicts that have accepted the fact that they are powerless over there addition -donot have to think twice about it--very simply put an addict/alcoholic is a man/womam whose life is controlled by drugs/alcohol--they are people in the grip of a continuing and progressive illness whose ends are always thesame--jails/institutions and death.---accepting this is very hard for most people---people cant believe that they donot have control of ther life----all they have to do is find a AA/NA meeting an sit in as a guest, listen to ther storys---mrfoot56

Q. My family doctor advised me to cut smoking and to have more orange juice and didn’t give any meds. Why is it so

I work in suburban zone in a construction site. My worksite is very dusty and polluted as lot many industries also exist there. While coming home I face huge traffic pollution. It’s a 1 hour journey. This creates stress to me. My family doctor advised me to cut smoking and to have more orange juice and didn’t give any meds. Why is it so?
A1YEah, probably your doctor believes that by increasing amount of anti-oxidants inside your body, your body will be able to fight the negative effect from the pollution.
the chemical pollution can come from anywhere in our daily living. that's why it is recommended for all of us to strengthen our body defense by eating healthy foods (and even consume multivitamins), and stop the activities that will harm our body (such as smoking, alcoholic drinks, etc.).

Fruits and some vegetables (you can try: orange, apple, berries, tomato, grapes, etc.) are believed to have high content of anti-oxidants, so it will help our body to remain healthy.
Good luck and stay healthy always!

A2I am working in radiation polluted environment where we had training on the health hazards due to pollution and its management in radiation zones. There, I got to know that inhalation of dust and pollutants from industry and traffic and smoking tobacco leads to free radical production in body. This is the source of majority of diseases in the world. These free radicals create stress in the body in chemical form. So, your general form stress from work can’t be avoided much but cutting on smoking can help you to reduce free radicals. That’s what your doctor wants. You can fight with these free radicals by intake of fruits, thus Oranges were prescribed.

Q. If your stomach muscles are cut across(bikini-cut from a c-section) does that mean that situps(crunches) won't

do any good? Is there a better way in this case?
Afrom what i know- it's not very good to do any sport right after a c-section. but you should resume as soon as you've been cleared by your doctor to help restore your strength and pre-pregnancy body, and then there is no problem to do situps.

Q. Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables? what would i gain if i'll do so?

AIt is a good idea to cut back on red-meat consumption, and increase the amount of fruit and vegetables in your diet, as these factors can lower the risk for developing colo-rectal cancer, whereas red meat has been found to be a risk factor in developing the disease. Other than that, fruit and vegetables are rich with fibers, that can ease constipation and help the digestive system.

Q. Is it true that if you want to lose weight you should cut your food in small pieces?

I mean, you burn more calories in the cutting, and in the chewing (as you have more pieces to chew on...)
Anot really...i tried this diet and i lost a few lbs. but not too much. it has reason in it because eating slowly will get you to eat less. you see, it takes a while until the body reacts to food entering the stomach and if you eat fast food you are overriding this mechanism.
