Q. arthritis and dancing

AIf you are suffering from acute arthritis it is better to let the joint rest and not do any physical activity, or at least take it easy and do gradual activity, because too much stress on the joint might slow the healing process of the inflammed joint.

Q. Is arthritis preventable?

A1you can find lots of info about it right here on this site!! type in "prevent arthritis" and it gives some great sites. I tried before as well...
A2Scientists do not yet fully understand what causes the various forms of arthritis. therefore- you can't stop a disease if you don't know whats causing it. alternative medicine probably have theories about the causes and how to prevent. you might as well look for some info about that...

A3. This is a very general question to a complex situation – there are more then one types of arthritis and all sorts of treatments for them. But, it’s mostly dealing with the pain with all sorts of pain medications and trying to avoid extra damage to the joints.

ATo some extent yes, but not absolutely. In general, animals are widely used as models for diseases in humans. The basic process of arthritis (i.e. inflammation of the joints) is quite similar, although the causes, manifestations and results of this process may vary greatly.

Q. Could be – Arthritis in children?!?

My son started to show symptoms similar to arthritis. But I know it’s a common disease in the elderly population. Could be arthritis in children?
A1You baffled me, I never thought about this idea before…children’s arthritis. So I looked up for information in the best site I know for pediatric care and here is what I found:

A3In biology- anything can happen. And even though it’s USUALLY see arthritis in people above 50- there is always a chance to see it in children. Rare maybe, but in biology - anything can happen.
And anyway it’ll be a good idea too check it out with a Dr.
